What a Thursday night like?
Thursday night ORB meetings are a time for high school
students from all over the Red Bank area to get together
and hang out with one another, meet new people, and
just have a great time. On Thursday nights we hope that
people will genuinely begin to share their lives with
one another. Thursday night consists of hanging out,
eating a pile of food, playing some games, singing some
songs, having a talk, and then some more hanging out.
Usually one of the leaders or one of the high school
students gives a short talk about what it means to be
a Christian and what we believe about Jesus. We believe
God has given us real life and we want to share that
life and love with others. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A CHRISTIAN
TO COME ON THURSDAYS. The leaders here are Christians.
At some point in our lives we came to believe that God
exists and that he loves us. We want other people to
know about this love. If you are a Christian, great,
WELCOME! If your not a Christian that’s fine too.
YOU ARE WELCOME ALSO! We will share with you what we
believe about God. What you choose to do with that is
up to you. WE WILL NEVER TELL YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE
SOMETHING TO BE A PART OF ORB. What we will do is share
with you the love, peace, and life that we have found
in following Christ, then whatever you do with that
information is up to you.

some more info about high school ORB:
As Christians we have chosen to live our lives reaching
out and caring about others. That’s why we are
involved in ORB. We know being a teenager is hard. We
want the ORB to be a place where people can be safe
and real. We have two cardinal rules at ORB. One is
that you be real with who you are. Be honest with yourself
and others. The second rule is that you are kind to
others. You put all the junk that life gives you to
the side for the night and you be respectful and kind
to others. ORB IS A PLACE WHERE YOU ARE FREE TO BE YOURSELF!
Outside of Thursday nights we do all sorts of other
things in the ORB high school community. We have both
girls and guys small groups. This is a chance for high
school students to get together and talk through life
in a more intimate setting. Each small group is different,
but in general it is a time where people can share thier
joys and struggles. Often the groups pray together and
study the bible. There is also a weekly Sunday evening
worship service that many High School students come
to and every high school student is welcomed to attend.
It’s a chance for the whole ORB community, both
young and old, to come together and praise God.
There is also a plethora of other random events that
all are welcome to attend! We play flag football each
Saturday. We have a Homecoming dance as well as an ORB
PROM! There are movie nights and concerts, as well as
S.W.A.N.N.(Super Wicked Awesome Nintendo Nights). We
have several weekend retreats, and holiday parties.
Every week something is going on somewher. Chech the

is happening!
